Brazil is a monster. A formidable beast with razor sharp tooth. I’m not a big fan of Dunga and some of his choices, in wording (calling Portugal “Brazil-B”) and player selection (leaving out Ronaldinho and Pato should be considered a criminal offense), but it can’t be argued he didn’t go for a win. The fact is Queiroz had something else in mind. Player rotation and – as always – team cohesion. Put the monster on a leash and try a well placed blow to knock his teeth out. He almost managed it through Meireles but nearly felt the bite on three occasions.
